THON 2022 Spring Captain Applications Now Open

THON is now accepting spring captain positions for THON 2022.

Applications must be submitted through an online form by Thursday, April 15.

Applicants need to submit a resume, provide schedule availability, academic information, two professional references, and answer five open-ended responses regarding experience, interests, and goals for THON.

Applicants should also rank their top three committee preferences. Spring captain positions in the following 16 committees are available:

  • Communications
  • Dancer Relations
  • Donor & Alumni Relations Alumni Engagement
  • Donor & Alumni Relations Development
  • Entertainment
  • Family Relations
  • Finance
  • Hospitality
  • Merchandise
  • OPPerations
  • Public Relations
  • R&R Event Safety
  • R&R Fundraising Safety
  • Special Events
  • Supply Logistics
  • Technology

Dancer Relations, Entertainment, Family Relations, Hospitality, Merchandise, OPPerations, Public Relations, R&R Event Safety, and R&R Fundraising Safety captains are not eligible to dance during THON Weekend. A complete description of spring captain roles can be found here.

THON 2022 is nearly 10 months away, but plans for the upcoming fundraising year are already underway. So far, Kate Colgan was appointed executive director in March. She later announced THON 2022’s executive committee Monday.
