Blue & White Society To Hold PS i(heart)U Week Starting April 12

PS i(heart)U week is back, folks. This year, the events put on by the Blue & White Society will take virtually place from Monday, April 12, through Friday, April 16.

The week will consist of a plethora of panels, events like virtual tarot card readings and virtual escape rooms, and much more.

For the past eight years, similar events have been brought forth by the Blue & White Society for Penn State students and alumni to emphasize showing off school spirit and getting involved.

Various pop-up tables will appear all over campus this week, giving members an opportunity to renew their memberships and snag some freebies along with this year’s membership t-shirt.

Here’s a brief rundown of this week’s planned events:

Monday, April 12

2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.: Virtual Tarot Card Reading

Interested in learning about your fate? Well, some Penn State students will have you covered for this reading via Zoom to kick off the week.

Tuesday, April 13

12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.: Virtual Escape Room

Try and escape a manhunt murder mystery with your friends by using clues and evidence in this virtual escape room.

2 p.m. to 3 p.m.: Penn State Trivia with the Lion Ambassadors

The Lion Ambassadors will host a virtual Penn State trivia night on their Facebook page with Penn State-themed prizes up for grabs.

Wednesday, April 14

12 p.m. to 1 p.m.: Virtual Painting Class

The HUB’s Visual Arts Curator Lindsay Landfried will host a lunchtime painting workshop Wednesday afternoon.

9 p.m.: Drag Queen Bingo with Alyssa Edwards

Alyssa Edwards from RuPaul’s Drag Race will host drag queen bingo to conclude Wednesday’s events.

Thursday, April 15

2 p.m. to 4 p.m.: Virtual Caricature Artists

A live caricaturist will draw those tuning in to this event on a themed body on an electric pad during this event. If you’ve ever wanted to have your face and Saquon Barkley’s body, now’s your chance.

6:30 p.m.: Lion Ambassadors: Exhibition of Who We Are Keynote Panel

The Lion Ambassadors provide a presentation on their equality initiative.

Friday, April 16
