On this episode of Podward State, host Grace Cunningham is joined by associate producers Jordan Mansberger and Will Pegler to interview a few freshmen about their first student experiences at Beaver Stadium.
Freshman staffers Shannon Smith and Connor Krause talk about what it was like to finally be a part of Penn State traditions like doing stadium cheers and singing the Alma Mater. They also discuss their favorite moments from last Saturday’s Beaver Stadium practice and what they are expecting entering next season.
Later, we catch up with guest host and Onward State editor Will Pegler to cover some quick sports updates. We dive into analysis from last weekend’s Beaver Stadium practice and later discuss men’s basketball coach Micah Shrewsberry, his new hires, and the transfer portal. Pegler wraps up his sports talk with an update on men’s and women’s soccer’s postseasons.
