Penn State Expands Finals Week Building Hours

Penn State is temporarily making five classroom buildings open 24 hours a day to help students study for finals from Thursday, April 29, through Friday, May 7.

Boucke, Hammond, Osmond, Thomas, and Willard buildings will all be available for students to study in without needing to schedule a time beforehand. As always, the HUB will remain open 24/7 during this time, too.

All buildings will close at 11 p.m. on Friday, May 7, when final exams end.

Students can use the Penn State Map and its “Classroom Availability Filter” to find open classrooms, daily schedules, and hours for all classroom buildings on campus.

Despite the difficulty of finding an open classroom on campus, the Pattee and Paterno libraries are still running during finals. The library will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays, closed Saturday, and open again on Sundays from 1 to 9 p.m.
