LionPATH Mobile App To Shut Down June 30

Penn State’s LionPATH mobile app will be discontinued on Wednesday, June 30, according to an email to students Wednesday afternoon.

Popular features of LionPATH include paying tuition, checking final grades, viewing upcoming enrollment dates, registering for classes, and checking your schedule. Students are encouraged to download the Penn State Go app to access LionPATH going forward.

“We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and expect that you will find a satisfactory experience with either the Penn State Go app or by accessing the full LionPATH system on your mobile device,” LionPATH Development and Maintenance Organization said in the email.

Earlier this month, LionPATH went through a required system update that improved user experience including navigation and visual design changes.

The Penn State Go app was released in January 2020 and serves as an all-in-one app for students. It complies access to Canvas, Starfish, LionCash+, a COVID-19 symptom checker, dining hall menus, Office 365, the ability to order food ahead of time through Penn State Eats, and more.

According to the email, Oracle, LionPATH’s vendor, is discontinuing the service. Questions and concerns about the discontinuation can be submitted via a service request.
