In-Person Fall Involvement Fair To Begin August 25

Following a year like no other, Penn State’s fall Involvement Fair is officially making its return to the HUB Lawn.

Hundreds of student clubs and orgs can set up from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, August 25, or Thursday, August 26, while the fair runs. There, students can check out Penn State’s 1,000+ clubs and find the right way to dive into everything Penn State offers.

Student orgs can sign up for only one spot on either August 25 or 26 — not both. They can place only two representatives at each table, but members can swap out throughout the day.

Students can sign up for a spot on OrgCentral. Once they put all the necessary information down, the request will be reviewed by Penn State’s Office of Student Affairs before approval is granted. Then, clubs and orgs can start preparing posters, handouts, or whatever else they choose to bring.

In case of inclement weather, backup dates are set for August 31, September 1, and September 2.

Last year, the Involvement Fair was completely virtual. It is unclear if online fair options will be available for students this time around.

Owen Abbey

Owen Abbey was a Secondary Education major before he graduated from the wonderful institution known as Penn State. When he was not writing for the blog, he enjoyed rooting for the Baltimore Orioles and Ravens, supporting Penn State basketball and softball, dreaming of all of the ways he would win the TV show "Survivor," and yes mom, actually doing school work. All of this work prepared him to teach his own class of students, which was always his true passion.
