Transportation Fair To Return To HUB Lawn September 3

Update, August 27: Due to potential rain in the forecast on Monday, this year’s Transportation Fair is now set for Friday, September 3. The event will still run from noon to 3 p.m. on the HUB Lawn.

You can find more information on this year’s Transportation Fair here.

Original Story: Penn State Transportation Services will once again host its Transportation Fair from noon to 3 p.m. Monday, August 30, on the HUB Lawn.

The fair will showcase information about transportation services, such as CATA, parking on campus, Penn State Fleet rentals, employment opportunities, and more.

Visitors can learn about getting around on campus and snag some free treats from the Penn State Bakery and get entered into a raffle to win prizes. The first 24 visitors will get either a Jamba Juice or Slim Chickens gift card.

To be entered into the raffle, make sure to get punches on the Transportation Fair card at one of the seven tables: parking, CATA/campus shuttle, Enterprise CarShare/Zimride, biking, University Police, Fleet, and Student Employment. Each punch is equal to one entry into the drawing.

Raffle prizes include:

  • Two student tickets to see Billie Eilish at the Bryce Jordan Center on February 10
  • Four $50 Legends (The Penn Stater) gift cards
  • Five single months of free parking
  • Five Zipcar memberships
  • Ten Campus Dining guest meal passes
  • Ten Creamery ice cream cone certificates
  • Six Penn State Bakery cookie tins
  • Starbucks gift basket
  • Spin ride credits
  • CATA one-month bus pass

Extra entries are given to those who follow Transportation Services on Facebook and Twitter.

If the Transportation Fair gets rained out, it will be moved to Friday, September 3.
