Penn State Updates Mailing Addresses For Dorm Residents

Penn State has released an updated guide on mailing addresses for the 2021-22 academic year. The new (albeit slight) changes aim to help students place online orders more easily and avoid errors for unrecognized addresses.

These new directions, complete with updated street addresses, mark a turning point in student deliveries. According to Penn State Housing Mail Services, students can now utilize various commons and community center addresses to ship deliveries.

When inputting these new addresses, make sure to include your name, residence hall, and room number above the address line, as inputting individual rooms into the address line might still result in failure. Avoiding extra information like unrelated street names or university landmarks is also key in the updated system.

Here’s a brief rundown of each housing district’s new format:

By simplifying the address input process with clear directions and street addresses, on-campus students can now order from virtually any online site and expect delivery to the dorms, a first for many students previously left disappointed at checkout.
