Penn State Baseball’s Midweek Matchup Against West Virginia Canceled Due To Inclement Weather

Penn State baseball announced that Tuesday’s game against No. 20 West Virginia has been canceled due to anticipated cold temperatures. The game to be played in Morgantown, West Virginia, where temperatures are expected to remain below 30 degrees throughout the evening.

Despite the cancellation, Penn State still has two midweek matchups on the books against West Virginia. They face off at a neutral site on Wednesday, April 15th, and in Medlar Field at Lubrano Park on Wednesday, April 29th. Both games are slated for 6 p.m.

The 5-13 Nittany Lions will continue conference play on Friday, traveling to Indiana for a weekend series against Purdue. They look to bounce back from their series loss against Iowa over the weekend, in which they dropped both Saturday and Sunday’s games after capturing a Friday night win, 11-6.
