Take The Quiz: What Kind Of Penn State Alum Are You?

Football Tailgating RV Park

Once you become a Penn Stater, you’re always a Penn Stater.

After a very, very long 22 months without in-person football, alumni of all ages are making their way back to Happy Valley. Now, lifelong fans are dusting off their Nittany Lion hats and putting together the most jam-packed tailgate itineraries. And, as always, there are quite a few generations of Penn Staters attending games this fall.

Whether you’re a recent grad or a grad from a few decades ago, we all have something in common: a love of Penn State gamedays. As we observe our game days each Saturday, there are a few different kinds of alumni who catch our eye.

Whether you’re a freshly graduated professional, a parent trying to show their kids Beaver Stadium for the first time, or a geezer reminiscing on the “good ol’ days,” take this quiz to find out your official Penn State alumni status.

Total Your Results

10-15 Points: You have not moved out of the college phase! Penn State is still your home and you’re not too sure when you’ll grow out of it. That’s totally fine, though. It’s really tough to forget about the campus beauty or constant time with friends. It’s also hard to compare the best days of your life to being a Penn State alum who hasn’t gotten rid of their lion ears yet.

16-25 Points: Whether you are a parent or not, you’re not far off from mom and pop. It was bound to happen, and it’s finally here! You are the trustworthy, head-of-tailgate alum that everyone wants to be around. You’re ready to show the future generation of Penn Staters what it’s like to be the best of the best, especially during game day. Who wouldn’t want to spend the day with you?

26-30 Points: You might not like this answer, but you’re the oldie of the group. Your glory days are in the past, but in a fun and memorable way! You like to snuggle up in a blanket to spend a few game days in a perfect recliner. We’ll all get there someday. At least you’ve been around the Happy Valley block once or twice. The oldies always have the best stories to tell.
