Three-Star Offensive Lineman Andre Roye Commits To Penn State Football

Penn State football’s stacked 2022 recruiting class just received another boost.

Three-star offensive lineman Andre Roye committed to the Nittany Lions on Wednesday, becoming the 25th player to do so in his class. Roye chose Penn State over Maryland, Arizona State, and Rutgers, among others.

According to 247Sports, Roye is ranked as the No. 23 prospect in Maryland. The 6’6″, 320-pound lineman plays for St. Frances Academy in his hometown of Baltimore. Roye’s commitment gives the current No. 1 recruiting Class of 2022 a boost as teams like Notre Dame and Alabama begin to pick up recruiting.

The offensive lineman had also played sports like basketball and lacrosse in the past. Roye averaged nearly four rebounds per game as a sophomore, per his MaxPreps profile.
