‘No Class’: Iowa Fans Blasted For Booing Penn State Injuries

No. 4 Penn State football’s 23-20 loss to No. 3 Iowa Saturday afternoon was chock-full of great punts, gritty defensive plays, and classic Big Ten football. Sadly, it was also marked by a gross lack of sportsmanship.

All afternoon long, boos rained down from Kinnick Stadium’s stands whenever a Nittany Lion wound up needing some medical attention after a play. By the third quarter, the jeers starting getting pretty ridiculous.

Naturally, Penn State fans took to Twitter to let the Hawkeyes know how they really feel.

After the game, head coach James Franklin addressed Iowa fans’ booing, too.
