Penn State-Illinois To Kick Off At Noon On ABC
Penn State football’s upcoming matchup with Illinois will kick off at noon on Saturday, October 23, on ABC, the team announced Monday afternoon.
The matchup will double as Penn State’s annual Homecoming game. The Nittany Lions will also break out their throwback “Generations Of Greatness” uniforms for the first time this season.
Penn State is 20-5 all-time against Illinois dating back to 1954. Last year, the Nittany Lions demolished the Illini 56-21 to wrap up an unusual regular season.
Penn State will face Illinois in just about two weeks after the team rests on its upcoming bye week. The matchup with the Illini should serve as a get-right game for the Nittany Lions after a tough loss to No. 3 Iowa.
