Micah Parsons Suits Up In Iowa Jersey After Losing Bet

Former Penn State linebacker Micah Parsons donned some interesting threads this week after losing a bet to current Dallas Cowboys teammate and former Iowa defensive end Chauncey Golston.

Following the Hawkeyes’ 23-20 win over the Nittany Lions, Parsons paid up and rocked one of Golston’s Iowa jerseys in the Cowboys’ locker room.

In one clip, Dallas running back Ezekiel Elliott, an Ohio State alum, told Parsons to be more concerned about what could happen in two weeks when Penn State and the Buckeyes face off in Columbus. This might not be the last time we see Parsons suiting up in the threads of his former Big Ten foes.

The Cowboys drafted Golston out of Iowa in the third round this offseason, and so far, he’s recorded 10 tackles and half a sack. First-round pick Parsons, however, has posted 25 tackles and 2.5 sacks on the year and remains in early contention for Defensive Rookie of the Year.

Sitting at 4-1 atop the NFC East standings, Dallas will hit the road this weekend to face New England at 4:25 p.m. on Sunday, October 17.
