Penn State Opens As One-Point Favorite Against No. 7 Michigan

Penn State opened as a one-point favorite against the No. 7 Michigan Wolverines, according to OddsShark.

Despite Michigan’s clear cushion in the rankings, Beaver Stadium is expected to offer a substantial home-field advantage – especially with a pseudo-White Out on deck.

The over/under is currently set at 48.5 points, the second-lowest of Penn State’s season behind its matchup with Iowa, which had an over/under set at 41. In four of Penn State’s last five games, the total has gone under.

This season, the Nittany Lions are 6-3 against the spread but are only 3-2 at home. While Michigan is 7-2 against the spread, the Wolverines have played only three games on the road and posted a record that’s 2-1 against the spread. Over its last 10 games, Penn State is 8-2 against the spread.

Following a convincing victory over Maryland last weekend, the Nittany Lions will try to keep their momentum rolling against Michigan. The game will kick off at noon on ABC.
