Countdown Is On With ‘100 Days ‘Til THON’ 2022

We officially dance in just 100 days, folks.

Wednesday, November 10, marks the 100-day countdown to THON 2022. For the first time in two years, both THON 2022 and 100 Days ‘Til THON are set to be celebrated both in person and virtually.

Wednesday’s event will begin at 11 a.m. and feature a packed four-hour schedule of events that will stretch until 3 p.m. Each event, including line dance run-throughs, live music, and hair donations, will take place near the HUB’s “High School Music” steps. A virtual livestream will be available at THON.org for those who can’t make it.

Here’s a look at 100 Days ‘Til THON’s full itinerary.

100 Days ‘Til THON will culminate by announcing the fundraising total for the organization’s annual Dream Forward campaign. The drive, which marks the unofficial beginning of THON’s fundraising season, brought in nearly $700,000 last year.

100 Days ‘Til THON provides the Penn State community a chance to get pumped about the event and recognize the work volunteers have completed so far. It’s just one of many milestones leading up to THON Weekend itself.

THON Weekend will stretch from Friday, Februray 18, to Sunday, February 20. The event is set to mainly be held in person at the Bryce Jordan Center, which will require some, including dancers, to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
