SPA To Host ‘Euphoria’ Star, Model Hunter Schafer For Lecture December 6

Penn State’s Student Programming Association (SPA) will host actress and model Hunter Schafer for a free lecture at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, December 6, in the HUB’s Alumni Hall.

Schafer has modeled for brands like Calvin Klein, Dior, Marc Jacobs, Versace, and more. Most notably, she’s been featured on the cover of Allure, V, Porter, and Dazed. Additionally, in 2017, Schafer was nominated to Vogue‘s “21 Under 21” list.

However, Schafer is likely best known for her role as Jules Vaughn on HBO’s “Euphoria” in which she stars opposite Zendaya. She’s also been a co-writer and co-executive producer for one of the show’s special episodes.

The lecture is free for Penn State students and funded by their student-initiated fee, but online tickets will be required for entry. Those interested in attending can register here starting at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, December 1.
