Penn State Football Wide Receiver Daniel George Enters Transfer Portal

Penn State wide receiver Daniel George has entered the NCAA transfer portal as a graduate transfer, according to Rivals.

The Maryland native appeared in 25 games over his four-year career at Penn State, totaling 285 receiving yards and one touchdown.

George didn’t see any playing time during the 2021 campaign, and he was spotted in the stands during the team’s loss in the Outback Bowl.. He also was not listed on the team’s most recent roster update.

His most productive season came in 2019 when he played in 12 games and caught nine passes for 100 total yards. His quick moment of fame at Penn State came when he and Sean Clifford connected for a school-record 95-yard touchdown reception during the 2018 season.

The wide receiver committed to Penn State as the No. 46 receiver in his class and No. 8 overall recruit in Maryland, according to 247Sports.
