Campus Dining To Host Student Hiring Event January 28

Penn State Campus Dining will host a “WorkOn Campus” hiring event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, January 28, in the HUB’s Heritage Hall.

There, students interested in working on campus could be hired on the spot to work at the Bryce Jordan Center, Commons Desks, or within departments like Hospitality Services, Residential Dining, and Retail Dining. Students will also get to enjoy some “free food” and “cool swag” if they choose to stop by.

The hiring event likely comes as a result of Penn State Dining temporarily closing a number of dining locations across campus last semester due to a significant labor shortage This resulted in the closure of fan-favorite eateries in Redifer Commons and Findlay Commons.

Students interested in working for Housing and Food Services can visit the Campus Dining website or apply for employment here.
