TEDxPSU To Host 12th Annual Conference February 13

TEDxPSU will host its 12th annual TEDx conference, titled “Endeavor”, at 1 p.m. on Sunday, February 13 in Schwab Auditorium.

This spring’s conference will feature 11 speakers covering a wide range of topics. TEDxPSU’s “Endeavor” conference hopes to provide “an opportunity to challenge ourselves to continue through the tides of life with grit and determination.” Presentations will often feature personal stories that connect to big-picture ideas.

Student tickets are $3, while non-student tickets are $4. These tickets can be purchased in the HUB or at the doors of the conference, which will open at 12:30 p.m. on the day of the event.

The Endeavor talks will be recorded live just like any other TED talk. TEDxPSU will also host a post-conference reception for audience members to meet the speakers and learn about their presentations.

This year’s conference features current Penn State students Janiyah Davis, Nora Van Horn, Michael Mitole, and Abbie La Porta, as well as Penn State professors Dr. Gary King, Dr. Das Saptarshi, Dr. Murali Haran, and Dr. Jason Griffith. Other speakers include a Harvard student, a Forbes “30 Under 30” entrepreneur, and a University of Tampa zoologist.

For more information about each speaker and their TED talk topics, visit the TEDxPSU website.
