THON’s ‘No Hair Don’t Care’ Returns To HUB February 15

For the first time in about two years, THON’s “No Hair Don’t Care” fundraiser will return to the HUB on Tuesday, February 15, just in time for a rapidly approaching THON Weekend.

The annual event, which will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in 129 HUB, lets students completely shave their heads for a cool $10. More importantly, students can credit $5 of that fee to a THON org or independent dancer couple of their choosing.

Unlike your typical barbershop, no appointments are necessary for No Hair Don’t Care. THON says the first 140 people to show up will receive a free headband, too.

No Hair Don’t Care aims to drum up support for pediatric cancer patients who may their hair to chemotherapy treatments. The fun isn’t just limited to guys, though. Ladies are encouraged to participate by getting undercuts shaven, too.

Small efforts like this can go such a long way to help someone battling cancer. If nothing else, it might put a smile on their face.

We dance five days, folks!
