Penn State Senior To Donate Small Business Proceeds To THON

Penn State senior and small business owner Alex Blomstrom is donating a portion of her sales this month to THON 2022’s fundraising campaign.

Blomstrom owns her own business, Alex Blomstrom Creates, and sells trendy apparel right from her apartment in State College. Since starting her business in quarantine, it’s blossomed into a wildly successful opereation. Her business’s Instagram page now boasts close to 20,000 followers.

Blomstrom plans to donate 15% of all sales made this week to THON until 6 p.m. on Friday, February 18 — right as THON 2022 officially begins.

“My favorite thing about Penn State has always been THON,” Blomstrom said on her Instagram story. “THON is the world’s largest student-run philanthropy, and I am so grateful to have been involved in it for the past four years.”

THON 2022 begins at 6 p.m. Friday, February 18, and lasts until 4 p.m. Sunday, February 20. We dance in three days!
