THON(Wordle) State: The Ultimate THON Word-Guessing Game

Looking for something fun to do during THON that isn’t the line dance or holding up your THON orgs letters for eight hours? We’ve got you covered.

Last week, we came up with some Penn State Wordles after taking inspiration from the new word-guessing game that has drawn in thousands of daily players. In the spirit of THON 2022, we thought it would be fun to keep it going by coming up with our own THON-inspired Wordles.

As a refresher, here are the rules:

There are three different colored tiles the game uses:

  • Gray, which tells the player that the corresponding letter is not included in the final word.
  • Yellow, which tells the player that the letter is included in the final word, but it is not in the correct spot.
  • Green, which tells the player that the letter included is in the final word and is in the correct spot.

You get six guesses of five-letter words to try and get all tiles to turn green. Check out ours and see how you do:

We couldn’t make it too easy for you. Check out some of these miscellaneous Wordles that are a little more challenging:

And, just because we love a good challenge, we’ve included one final (and long) Wordle for you folks. We’ll give you a hint: it’s repeated almost every hour. Good luck!
