People Draw THON 2022’s ‘Spark Endless Light’ Logo From Memory

It’s 6 a.m. and things are getting weird in the Bryce Jordan Center. Only the dedicated remain…

The THON 2022 “Spark Endless Light” logo features two children watching an exploding firework. While it’s a seemingly simple design, we saw fear in the eyes of Penn Staters when we asked them to draw it from memory.

These days, students don’t use pen and paper, so we fired up the iPad and set out to run some laps on the concourse to see if there were any Picassos among us.

It’s giving “¯\_(ツ)_/¯“.

The highlighter yellow is a nice change of pace from the classic yellow-orange marker everyone else selected.

We see a spider more than a firework here. Plus, the children are missing!

Technically, this THON logo is spot on. However, it doesn’t quite resemble this year’s theme, “Spark Endless Light.”

THON 2022’s logo is actually a head of iceberg lettuce.

It appears this fella got the firework confused with the sun. Or, a cyclone. We’ll pretend this couple is watching the sunrise, though. Very cute.

Green was an interesting choice, and we love it! Mrs. THON logo does in fact have a double chin, but the hand holding is just oh so sweet.

A+ for effort. It looks like they’re parachuting. Also, the guy on the right is so circular.

This is the prettiest sand dollar I’ve ever seen.

The craziest part? Someone else also draw a sand dollar. Weird.

The stick figure on the right is certainly listening to, “Soulja Boy off in this hoe. Watch me crank it, watch me roll.” The heart is a sweet touch.

The circular firework memo is missing, but that’s okay! Just two dudes enjoying half of a firework.

This one reminds us of the I <3 NY t-shirts.
