[Video] THON 2022 Raises $13,756,374.50 For The Kids

THON 2022 has officially come and gone, but not before Penn Staters raised a record $13,756,374.50 for the kids. The fundraising total was revealed on stage by the dance marathon’s executive committee in iconic THON fashion.

This year’s total is the highest sum of money THON has ever raised — breaking the previous record of $13,343,517.33 from back in 2014. This year’s total also crushed last year’s number, which was deflated by the COVID-19 pandemic, by more than $3 million.

Since 1977, when THON officially partnered with Four Diamonds, the annual dance marathon has raised more than $190 million. You can relive this year’s dramatic total reveal in the below, recorded by Onward State’s own Kyra Cunningham.
