Registration Open For Penn State Alumni Association’s ‘We Are Weekend’

Registration is now open for the Penn State Alumni Association’s annual “We Are Weekend.” The annual event gathers current and former Penn State students each summer to celebrate all things Dear Old State.

The celebration is set to take place on campus on Friday, June 17, and Saturday, June 18. Leading up to the in-person events are a week’s worth of virtual activities that will run from Monday, June 13, through Thursday, June 16.

This year’s program recognizes the 50th anniversary of the graduating classes of 1970, 1971, and 1972 with several special events, including special dinners. We Are Weekend will also feature educational lectures, virtual and in-person tours, and family-friendly events.

Admission for in-person weekend activities is $10 for Alumni Association members, and virtual events are free for attendees.

A block of rooms is available at the Penn Stater Hotel & Conference Center for We Are Weekend, too. Rooms can be booked by heading online or calling (800) 233-7505 and referring to the code “REUN22R.”

Attendees also have the opportunity to join the attendee list, which allows Penn Staters to recognize names and contact each other throughout the weekend.

A more detailed schedule of events is expected to be available soon, and more details can be found on the Alumni Association’s website.
