Topgolf Live Stadium Tour Coming To Beaver Stadium June 2022

The Topgolf Live Stadium Tour will make its way to Beaver Stadium from June 2 to 5, Penn State announced on Tuesday. Through the experience, fans will get the chance to tee off from the stands and virtually hit the links in the home of Penn State football.

Through its tour, Topgolf is turning some of America’s most famous sports venues into driving ranges. Fans are able to tee up from the stands and aim at targets located on the field. Topgolf uses tracing technology to track the distance, speed, and accuracy of the ball. With targets at different distances, fans of all levels are able to compete through scoring.

Tickets for Topgolf at Beaver Stadium will go on sale Thursday, April 7, following a pre-sale on April 5. Parties of up to six are able to reserve a bay for one-hour reservations. Tickets will be sold exclusively through Ticketmaster.

Here’s a breakdown of the pricing, according to Penn State:

  • $40 for Penn State student hours
  • $80 for non-peak hours
  • $90 for peak hours
  • $10 for spectator tickets
  • $185 for the “Unrivaled Experience Package”
    • Note: Parking is included in Topgolf Live Stadium Tour pricing.

Golf clubs will be provided for golfers. Outside clubs will be prohibited for safety reasons, Topgolf says. Additional safety measures include disinfecting golf clubs, tables and bays, washing balls, and hand sanitizers being placed throughout the venue.

The Topgolf Live Stadium Tour has already visited Fenway Park, Heinz Field, Soldier Field, and many more venues. This summer, it will add Dodger Stadium, T-Mobile Park, and, of course, Beaver Stadium to that list.

Back in November, a newly formed Centre County-based sports and entertainment commission noted Topgolf as a possible option at Penn State. Topgolf’s arrival at Beaver Stadium will mark the first product of that new partnership between the Happy Valley Adventure Bureau and Penn State.
