Blue & White Society To Hold Annual ‘PS i(heart)U’ Week Beginning April 18

After hosting things virtually last year, Penn State is back to loving Dear Old State with in-person activities. Of course, that means the Blue & White Society is hosting its ninth annual PS i(heart)U Week from April 18 to April 22.

The week-long event will feature a variety of events, including bingo, yoga, and a carnival, that can help students de-stress as finals quickly approach. The week’s mission is to “encourage University pride and celebrate Penn State traditions.”

Here’s a look at the full slate of events:

Monday, April 18

Pop-Up Table

Homecoming will sponsor Monday’s pop-up table on the HUB Lawn from 9 to 10:30 a.m.

HUB Takeover

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., giveaways, goodies, and more will be offered in the HUB.

Virtual Bingo with State College Queens

Partnering with the Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity, State College drag queens will play bingo with Penn State students, staff, and the community from 7 to 8:30 p.m. via Zoom. You can sign up for the event using this Google Form.

Tuesday, April 19

Pop-up Table

Lion Ambassadors will sponsor Tuesday’s pop-up table in front of Old Main from 9 to 10:30 a.m.

Old Main Open House

Penn Staters will have the chance to take a tour, learn about the history of Old Main, and climb the bell tower from 1 to 4 p.m.

“Who We Are, All That We Are: Community Conversations”

From 5 to 6:30 p.m. at Robb Hall in the Hintz Family Alumni Center, Penn State Student Affairs will host a session through which participants can learn the necessary skills to have difficult conversations. Those interested in participating can fill out this form to register.

Wednesday, April 20

Pop-up Table

The Blue & White Society will have a pop-up table from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Palmer Museum of Art Plaza.

Yoga Class

If you’re looking for a wellness break, now’s your chance. You can head over to the Hintz Family Alumni Center from noon to 12:45 p.m. for a yoga class.

Tie-Dye Event

A tie-dye event will be held at the Hintz Family Alumni Center from 6 to 7 p.m.

Thursday, April 21

Pop-up Table

Penn State Hillel will sponsor Thursday’s pop-up table at the HUB from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

HUB Carnival

From 1 to 4 p.m., head over to HUB Lawn for music, food, carnival games, prizes, and more.

Friday, April 22

Pop-up Table

Harmony Penn State will sponsor Friday’s pop-up table at the library’s Pattee Mall entrance from 11 a.m to 12:30 p.m.
