[Photo Story] Spring Has Sprung In Happy Valley
Sometimes, it can feel like the blistering cold of the spring semester lasts way too long. However, by the end of the semester, campus gifts us with some really beautiful colors and life to finish off the year.
To appreciate the brightness and joy of springtime, our staff set out to capture the spring season’s vibrance through the lens of our cameras.
Pink blossoms have been popping up just about everywhere lately, adding some much-needed color to the lives of students.
Around Old Main, bare branches made way for vibrant yellows, and daffodils sprouted out of the ground to wonderfully frame our campus’ most iconic landmark.
I might be starting to sound like a broken record about how great the pink flowers look, but it’s one of Penn State’s old-school colors. Looks great!
Even though the blooming pink trees look great, the daffodils are pretty great, too — especially when they frame spots like the Berkey Creamery.
No matter where you look on campus, there are probably some flowers blooming!
With the warm, spring weather, we saw the return of some of our favorite feathered friends across campus, too.
Of course, the Arboretum has some beautiful springtime life to it as well thanks to a wide array of blooming flowers, plants, and more.
All sorts of awesome colors have bloomed across campus!
With finals approaching, life can get pretty stressful at this point in the semester. However, the shining sun and vibrant colors should bring some joy to the rest of your spring in Happy Valley.
