Three-Star Wide Receiver Yazeed Haynes Commits To Penn State Football

Following a busy few weeks of camps and official visits, Penn State football has added to its 2023 recruiting class.

Three-star Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, wideout Yazeed Haynes announced Sunday evening that he’s staying in the Keystone State and joining James Franklin’s squad.

The North Penn High School product was previously committed to Rutgers and picked up an offer from the Nittany Lions after attending a camp on June 4. He had an official visit in Happy Valley on June 10 and announced his commitment just a few days later.

Haynes is a top-100 wide receiver in his class, according to 247Sports, and recently picked up a fourth star from Rivals.

He clocks in at 6′ 1″ and 170 pounds and was a part of a North Penn team that went 11-1 during his junior season. You can see more of what he has to offer over on his Hudl page.

Haynes is just the second pure wideout to join Penn State’s Class of 2023, which sits at No. 4 in the nation. It’s headlined by offensive linemen Alex Birchmeier and J’Ven Williams.
