Downtown State College ‘Live After 5’ Concert Series To Kick Off June 29

The Downtown State College Improvement District is once again teaming up with local music promoter The Band Junkies to bring its second annual summer concert series back to downtown State College.

The “Live After 5” concert series will run from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. every Wednesday from June 29 to September 7 at Martin Luther King Jr. Plaza on Fraser Street. Each show is free and open to the public.

The series will feature 10 acts from the State College area over the summer. The only Wednesday of the summer a concert will not take play is July 13 due to Arts Fest. Here’s the full 2022 lineup:

  • June 29: Anchor&Arrow
  • July 6: Donny Burns Duo with Rob Chisholm
  • July 20: Corner Brothers
  • July 27: Andrew Jackson Jazz Showcase
  • August 3: AAA Blues Band
  • August 10: Pure Cane Sugar
  • August 17: Hops and Vines
  • August 24: Tightrope (featuring Chris Bell)
  • August 31: Ma’am
  • September 7: Eric Ian Farmer and Ady Martinez
