Penn State Football To Host Run-On Tryouts Starting August 11

Do you think you’ve got what it takes to be Penn State football’s next walk-on run-on star?

Once again, the Nittany Lions are hosting run-on tryouts this fall. If you’ve ever wanted to don black shoes and basic blues, now’s your chance.

The team will hold an informational meeting at 4 p.m. on Thursday, August 11 via Zoom. Before attending the meeting, prospective players will need to fill out the team’s Google form, which asks for contact information, current GPAs, players’ positions, and a Hudl link.

All applicants must be enrolled full-time and registered at Penn State’s University Park campus to be considered for a run-on spot.

Penn State football’s run-ons have a long history of success, and some have gone on to play professionally. Who knows? Maybe you will be the next run-on success story.
