THON 2023 Captain Applications Now Open

If you’re an active THON committee member looking for a bit more experience…look no further. THON 2023 captain applications are now open.

Completed applications must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Thursday, August 25. You can submit yours here.

THON captains are active leaders in the THON community who help plan events and ensure that the 46-hour dance marathon runs smoothly.

The application includes questions about personal and academic information, availability, previous leadership experience, skills, challenges you’ve overcome, and why you want to be a THON captain. It also includes a place to submit two references and a resume.

Applicants should list their top three committees and positions. A complete list of the 16 committee descriptions can be found here.

THON 2023 events are in full swing. The fundraising window opened on July 1 with the “Ignite The Fight” campaign, and the Washington Nationals hosted a THON Game last month. Yesterday, THON announced that its annual 5K event will take place on October 16.

THON Weekend is slated for February 17 through 19.
