Transportation Fair To Return To HUB Lawn August 31

Penn State Transportation Services is back with its annual Transportation Fair from noon to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, August 31, on the HUB Lawn.

The Transportation Fair will provide important information on campus parking, biking, transit, bus and shuttle services, Penn State Fleet rentals, and more.

Visitors can treat themselves to baked goods from the Penn State Bakery while they learn about getting around campus and downtown and enter a raffle for a chance to win fun prizes. The first 24 visitors will get either a Jamba Juice or Burger King gift card.

Visitors will receive a punch card that will serve as their raffle ticket. The card can be punched at the following tables: Campus Shuttle/Fleet, CATA, Biking, Spin, University Police, Parking, and Student Employment. Each punch is equal to one entry into the drawing.

Raffle prizes include:

  • Two student tickets to see John Mulaney at the Bryce Jordan Center on September 25
  • Two $50 Legends (The Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center)
  • Five single months of free parking
  • Ten Campus Dining guest meal passes
  • Ten Creamery ice cream cone certificates
  • Six Penn State Bakery cookie tins
  • Starbucks gift basket
  • Spin ride credits

Visitors can receive bonus raffle entries by following Transportation Services on Facebook and Twitter.

In the case of inclement weather, the Transportation Fair will be moved to Wednesday, September 7.
