Penn State Athletics Announces Improvements To Beaver Stadium

Beaver Stadium has been improved ahead of Saturday’s home opener, including new concessions and an expanded entrance at Gate C. Additionally, the department also updated its clear bag policy.

Beaver Stadium’s Gate C entrance on its north side was expanded to ease the entry process for fans and improve fan circulation with extended walkways.

Meanwhile, several new food options are coming to Beaver Stadium. One notable new option is the New Holland’s Farm to Stadium concession stand, which will be located at the northwest end of the stadium behind sections NC and ND, in addition to the already announced Scott’s Roasting.

New Holland’s offers primarily barbecue, including pulled pork sandwiches, loaded pork nachos, and pork-in-a-dish. More new additions include two hot dog stands with multiple types of hot dogs, including a Chili Cheese dog and a Philly dog.

The department also plans to introduce grab-and-go concessions at various locations throughout the stadium. Beaver Stadium will also have increased access to bottled water throughout the venue.

In addition to improving the gameday experience inside the stadium, Penn State has new plans for outside the stadium, introducing the new pregame block parties on Curtin Road adjacent to the stadium. Inflatable games, fan photo booths, food trucks, and more are expected to be part of the 2022 block party scene. There will also be live music before non-noon kickoff games.

As usual, restrooms will also be available in the Bryce Jordan Center at Gates A and B, as well as inside Medlar Field at Lubrano Park.
