State College ‘LION Bash’ Block Party Scheduled For September 8

Lion Bash 2021 Food Truck Event

State College’s annual LION (Living In One Neighborhood) Bash block party is set to return from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, September 8. The event will take place on the 100, 200, and 300 blocks of South Allen Street.

Engagement stations will be set up along South Allen Street for attendees to play games, win prizes, and learn more about the borough. Balloon and caricature artists, massages, food vendors, and other entertainment will also be available at the block party.

“The goal is to get the community, no matter how long they have lived here, to come out, enjoy live entertainment and learn more about the Borough of State College,” the Borough’s website states.

For more information on this year’s event, head to the Borough’s website.

The LION Bash block party returned last year after a one-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Musicians, countless engagement stations, and even some of our furry friends helped create a welcoming environment for community members at last year’s event.
