New York Giants Call For White Out On Monday Night Football

White Out, meet…White Out?

It looks like the New York Giants are taking notes from their colleagues over in Happy Valley and calling for a White Out for their Monday Night Football showdown with the Dallas Cowboys.

Giants safety Julian Love made the announcement on NFL Network’s “Good Morning Football” Tuesday shortly before head coach Brian Daboll seemingly sent an email to season ticket holders with the same request. According to the email, obtained by reporter Art Stapleton, New York will also hand out white rally towels to go with its white color rush jerseys.

With Nittany Lions Saquon Barkley and Cam Brown serving as Giants captains, you have to wonder if the duo of Penn Staters gave management a little bit of a push on this one.

Cowboys star Micah Parsons, who will travel to MetLife Stadium on Monday, is no stranger to White Outs either. He logged a college career-high 14 tackles against Michigan in 2019 en route to a 28-21 Nittany Lions victory. Offensive lineman Connor McGovern is on Cowboys’ roster, too.

The Giants are off to a perhaps surprising 2-0 start under their new head coach this season, while the Cowboys sputtered to 1-1 after losing starting quarterback Dak Prescott to injury. No matter how this game shakes out, we’ll be watching closely to see if New Yorkers can create as hostile of an environment as folks do in Happy Valley.
