Lion Ambassadors To Host Annual ‘Haunted Valley’ October 7

Are you ready to kick off this spooky season in true Penn State fashion?

Lion Ambassadors is once again hosting its spine-chilling “Haunted Valley” lantern tours and haunted house on Friday, October 7, at the Hintz Family Alumni Center.

“Haunted Valley immerses visitors in the history of Penn State,” Lion Ambassadors member Emma Chan said in a release. “The event is a unique, fun-filled experience for the entire family. We are excited to share some of Penn State’s spooky history and give families the opportunity to participate in some fun fall traditions. While the event is held during Penn State’s Family weekend, everyone in the community is welcome.”

From 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Lion Ambassadors will lead ghost tours through campus while sharing some of the university’s spookiest and most haunting tales.

Guests can also take a walk through a haunted house inside the University House, which is the oldest building on campus and the former home to 11 Penn State presidents.

The event is free and open to the public and will also feature food and festive entertainment.
