The Best Of Your Penn State Pets

Last week, we asked to see your coolest college pets. It’s safe to say you delivered.

Whether they live in homes that allow critters or are kept secret from landlords, these pets have found their way into the hearts of many Penn Staters. From adorable dogs to a three-legged cat to even a turtle, there are some pretty cool pets living in State College.

This 10-week-old yellow lab is Nittany! Nittany attended her first Penn State football game this season and was greeted by many people that couldn’t walk by her without saying hello. How could you not?

This is Knox. Knox travels back and forth from State College to his hometown because he’s a “stud” and helps his owner with “booty calls.” If you need a wingman, Knox is your guy!

Ollie is a three-legged cat that grew up in the streets of Irvington, New York. His disability hasn’t slowed him down, as he’s learned how to clean himself by standing only on his back two legs.

This cool cat is Louis, and he’s able to climb to the top of a sliding screen door by using only his paws. We wonder if Louis could climb up a tree and catch an infamous Penn State squirrel…

This is Emmy. Most mornings, Emmy can be found outside her apartment by the bus stop, making everyone’s day just a little better by rolling over for a belly rub.

Henry is a mini Goldendoodle. When Henry was being house-trained, he decided to lift his leg on a fake plant that was inside the house, thinking he was outside. It’s the thought that counts, Henry.

This turtle’s name is Terrell. Terrell is known as a “favorite fifty-cent piece sized shot-gun rider” that traveled many times in his travel tank to and from college. Terrell has many fans in State College, including maintenance men who keep his existence a secret and love to watch him eat minnows and tiny beef meatballs.

This happy Rottweiler is Dublin. Dublin enjoys going to Yallah Taco because his owner lets him eat chicken and cheese quesadillas. Atta boy, Dublin.
