Downtown State College Fall Festival Set For October 15

Downtown State College will hold its 21st annual Fall Festival from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m on Saturday, October 15, on the 200 Block of Allen Street. Attendees can anticipate food vendors, pony rides, a fun house, and more.

Free pumpkins are available on-site for kids, who can also participate in a pumpkin decorating activity sponsored by Growing Tree Toys.

A concurrent event, aimed specifically at young children, will occur nearby Sidney Friedman Park. Kids can look forward to fresh entertainment every hour, including a puppet show and a performance from Capvara the Clown.

The radio station Big Froggy 101.1 will provide music for the event. Attendees have a chance to win two tickets to Carrie Underwood’s concert at the Bryce Jordan Center next February.

The Fall Festival is free to attend. For more information, visit Downtown State College’s website.
