State College’s ‘Trunk Or Treat’ Events To Begin October 27

It’s spooky season, folks.

A trio of “Trunk or Treat” events are coming to State College in the days leading up to Halloween. Read on to find out where to take your kids to get their sugar fix this year.

Community Trunk Or Treat At Juniper Village

  • 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 27
  • 1950 Cliffside Drive 
  • Participants are encouraged to decorate their cars for the event, and refreshments will be provided. Admission is free.

State College Trunk Or Treat

  • 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, October 28
  • 677 West Whitehall Road
  • Hosted by the State College YMCA in partnership with the Youth Service Bureau. This event offers games and activities and will be held in the parking lot. Admission is free.

Christ Community Church Trunk Or Treat

  • 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, October 30
  • 200 Ellis Plaza
  • Includes a hayride, an inflatable bounce house, food trucks, and a DJ. Admission is free.

If you’re looking for some other spooky events, Penn State’s fraternities and sororities are teaming up to host their annual Greek-or-Treat from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 26, at the intersection of Locust Lane and East Fairmont Avenue. Penn State’s Forensic Science Club and the Theme Park Engineering Group are once again hosting their haunted houses on October 27 and 28, too.
