Transfer Portal Roundup: Week 10
Penn State came out on top in a much-needed bounce-back 45-14 win over Indiana this past Saturday in Bloomington
Many former Penn Staters found similar success by stepping up big and helping lead their respective squads to victory. Hereβs a look at how some Penn State transfers fared during week 10 of the college football season.
Will Levis, Kentucky
After suffering a blowout loss to Tennessee last week in what was a three-interception struggle, Will Levis looked more like himself during a 21-17 win at Missouri.
Levis finished the game with 170 passing yards and three touchdowns. Additionally, the Connecticut native led the Wildcats’ offense on a game-winning touchdown drive with five minutes left in regulation.
Cam Sullivan-Brown, UMass
Last week, Cam Sullivan-Brown posted his lowest receiving total of the season, recording just 10 yards on two catches. He made up for it this week, though, by cementing career-highs in receptions and yards during the Minutemen’s battle with UConn.
He finished the game with five receptions for 124 yards, with one of the catches resulting in his second touchdown of the season. Ultimately, UMass fell short in a 27-10 defeat.
Tyler Rudolph, UMass
Another career game in the UMass’ bout with UConn came courtesy of defensive back Tyler Rudolph. Rudolph recorded 10 tackles in the loss, highlighted by five solo hits.
This was the first time Rudolph recorded a double-digit tackle performance in his career. He currently boasts 45 tackles on the season, which ranks second on the team.
TJ Jones, UAB
After recording his first touchdown of the season a week ago, Jones failed to duplicate a career-defining outing in this week’s matchup with UTSA.
Jones recorded only two receptions for 11 yards. Despite Jones’ lack of production, the Blazers’ offense exploded for 553 total yards in the squad’s 44-38 double-overtime loss at the hands of UTSA.
