Penn State Athletics Announces Parking Updates For Maryland Game

Update, November 11: Penn State Athletics announced that Lot 32 will be closed for tomorrow’s game. Those with Lot 32 passes can park in Innovation Park and shuttle to Beaver Stadium. The free shuttles run from 11:30 a.m. until two hours after the game.

Original Post: Penn State Athletics announced a few parking updates ahead of Saturday’s game due to heavy rain expected Friday.

As grass lots will remain open for tailgating for Saturday’s home game, Overnight RV lots will be closed from noon on Friday until 8 a.m. on Saturday. This can be subject to change as Penn State will monitor the conditions. The Overnight RV lot will still open at 6 p.m. as scheduled.

Parking for fans arriving on Friday will be offered at Grange Fair Park free of charge. Those who would rather park a car are allowed one vehicle per ORV pass.

For people hesitant about the conditions and parking in a grass lot, fans can use their parking pass for alternative parking at Innovation Park. Tailgating is permitted at Innovation Park, as well. Fans will then be shuttled to Beaver Stadium and dropped off at the North Transit Center. The shuttles will run from 11:30 a.m. until two hours after the game. Penn State Athletics will also have towing available if a fan’s vehicle gets stuck in the grass.

There will also be no day of game parking available for purchase in Lot 36. Instead, fans can purchase parking on gameday in the East or Eisenhower Parking decks through the West zone.
