Paris Bakery & Cafe To Open New Location In Downtown State College

Croissant, anyone?

A new authentic French bakery will open its doors at 122 W. College Ave., in place of BRGR, which closed down in 2024.

Paris Bakery & Cafe is expanding into State College with a bigger menu and more space than its first store in Lewisburg offers. The bakery’s menu includes a wide variety of pastries, sandwiches, and beverages.

“What we have right now at our Lewisburg location, we’re going to offer 10 times more in State College,” Mario Mabrouk, the owner, told the Centre Daily Times.

The cafe will also have a wood-fired pizza oven, with Mabrouk bringing over a chef from Italy to oversee the culinary process.

The hope is to offer a new variety of foods that aren’t as accessible in State College at the moment.

While no opening date has been released, construction is underway on the store. To see their full menu, check out the Paris Cafe & Bakery Facebook.
