Allen Robinson Suffers Foot Injury, Will Miss Rest Of NFL Season

Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay confirmed Sunday that former Pro Bowl wide receiver and Penn State legend Allen Robinson will miss the remainder of the 2022 season due to a foot injury.

Robinson, who was inactive for the Rams during their 26-10 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, reportedly suffered the injury during practice Friday and will undergo surgery.

After spending the last four seasons with the Chicago Bears, Robinson signed a three-year contract with the reigning Super Bowl champions. Los Angeles will now be without its top two wide receivers for the next few weeks, as former Offensive Player of the Year Cooper Kupp was placed on the injured reserve just two weeks ago.

Robinson finishes his 2022 campaign with 33 receptions for 339 yards and three touchdowns in 10 games played. Sitting at 3-8 on the season, the Rams’ postseason chances continue to dwindle away as the season goes on.
