Jahan Dotson, Saquon Barkley Swap Jerseys Following Divisional Clash

A pair of Penn State’s most prolific playmakers linked up and swapped jerseys following Sunday’s game between the New York Giants and Washington Commanders.

Saquon Barkley and Jahan Dotson made sure to exchange pleasantries at midfield following the tie between the two teams.

Barkley and Dotson both played at Penn State but not at the same time. Barkley departed for the NFL in 2017 and Dotson was a true freshman the following year in 2018. Still, it’s a heartwarming sight for Penn State fans to see some of their most recent stars having success in the big leagues.

Barkley is enjoying a bounce-back season with the Giants after struggling with injuries for the last three. He sits at 992 rushing yards and seven touchdowns through week 13 and could end up setting career highs in both.

Barkley was mostly held in check this week, posting 63 yards on 18 carries — second on the team behind quarterback Daniel Jones’ 12 carries for 71 yards. Barkley tacked on a 13-yard touchdown, too.

The rookie Dotson put together his best performance since missing five games in the middle of the season with a hamstring injury, reeling in five catches for 54 yards and this dazzling score.

Barkley’s Giants remain at home next week to take on the 11-1 Philadelphia Eagles, while Dotson’s Commanders get to rest up on their bye before meeting with the Giants again in week 15.
