College Avenue’s Ethereal Boutique To Close December 31

State College’s Ethereal Boutique, located at 216 E. College Ave., will permanently close on December 31 after just over four years in business, according to an email sent out by owner Miranda Sheetz.

Sheetz wrote in the email that she’s moving to Indianapolis, and therefore, bringing the boutique with her.

“The last 4 years on East College Ave have been an incredible experience and I am so thankful for all of the customers that have helped me bring my dream to life,” Sheetz wrote. “Now, as I am moving into the next chapter of my personal life, I must bring Ethereal along with me… to Indianapolis!”

The shop opened its doors on September 24, 2018, and has been selling women’s clothing and home goods ever since. While the storefront is moving to Indianapolis, loyal customers in the State College area can still shop through the online store.

“I’m closing the shop doors on 12/31, but there is still time to stop in for holiday shopping! And even though we are physically moving, the online shop is always active and will remain open,” she wrote.

Sheetz concluded the email by expressing her gratitude for the State College community and encouraging customers to stay engaged with the store online and if they’re ever in Indianapolis.
