Rose Bowl Trophy To Be On Display In HUB January 10

That’s right, folks. The Rose Bowl trophy is coming home to Happy Valley where it belongs.

The Leishman Trophy will be on display from noon to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, January 10, in the HUB. Students will have the opportunity to see the trophy and take pictures with it.

As we all know, the Nittany Lions took home the Leishman Trophy after its 35-21 win over Utah in the 2023 Rose Bowl on Monday, January 2. Sean Clifford and Ji’Ayir Brown, the game’s MVPs, shined and led the Nittany Lions to a win in their final collegiate games. Star running back Nick Singleton earned Saquon Barkley and Ki-Jana Carter comparisons with his electric two-touchdown performance, too.

The convincing win was Penn State’s second-ever Rose Bowl victory — the other win coming in 1995 when Joe Paterno’s squad beat Oregon 38-2o.
