‘Bagel Love’: Bagel Crust Cafe Reopens With Name Change On North Atherton Street

With the pandemic in the rearview, everyone’s favorite bagel shop on North Atherton Street is open once again.

Bagel Crust Cafe, located at 2122 N. Atherton St., reopened earlier this month with a name change. It now goes by “Bagel Love Cafe.” According to the owner, the sign on the store will be changed to reflect its new name soon.

It’s operating under the same ownership as its former name. It was previously a Bagel Crust, too.

The shop is open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Menu items didn’t change much from before the pandemic, but the owner added fresh bread, a few gourmet sandwiches, and homemade smoked salmon.

Bagel flavors include plain, everything, classic love, asiago, sesame, asiago-everything, chocolate chip, rainbow, poppy, wheat, and blueberry. Bagels with cream cheese start at $4.50, and you can preorder a dozen bagels for $8.99.

There are a number of specialty breakfast items starting at $9, including a breakfast burrito; a lox, egg, and vegetable sandwich; and a pork roll, sausage, and bacon combo.

Lunch items include chicken salad, BLT, grilled cheese, cheesesteak, and more. Hot and iced coffee is priced at $3.25, lattes at $5, and smoothies at $6.

You can check out Bagel Love’s Facebook page for more information.
