[Photo Story] The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile Returns To Penn State

It’s the most bun-derful time of the year, folks.

This week, Hotdoggers Ketchup Kaitlyn and Cookout Christian brought the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile to campus to recruit Hotdoggers of the future. They parked the giant hot dog on wheels outside of Old Main to ketchup with students.

To be quite frank, our staffers love when the Wienermobile makes its annual return, so we made sure to capture the glizzy in all of its glory.

Folks flocked to the scene and knew that missing the Wienermobile would be the wurst.

Ketchup Kaitlyn and Cookout Christian handed out Wienermobile-shaped whistles to all who stopped to by. The duo even gave me my own hotdogger name: “At-The-Grill Annie.”

If you thought that the outside of the Wienermobile looked cool, the inside features even more reminders that you’re inside a giant hot dog.

Everyone relished in the sight and made sure to get a picture, including Onward State’s own Mackenna Yount. However, she’s now known as Mustard Mack.

Ketchup Kaitlyn and Cookout Christian plan to hold an information session at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, February 13, in the Thomas Building for any hopeful hotdoggers.

As always, it’s been real, dear Wienermobile. Until we meat again.
